For a good while I was painting up storm and then the physio got to work on my arm. Ouch but in a good cause. So I've really been doing very little art lately. It must be the upcoming summer months - they are not very productive for a number of people. Too many other distractions. Today's distraction will be the boy agonising over whether Amazon has delivered the Lego Indiana Jones game today! If you haven't seen the Lego short Raiders of the Lost Brick, check it out on You Tube - it's a hoot. It should be on the sidebar, way down at the bottom. I also added Tristania 's Mercyside as a response to a question on JournalGirl's art journal workshop about what music do you journal to - loud, Gothic metal is my preference - Within Temptation, Tristania, Delain, Xandria, Lacuna Coil (ok, so they're not Goth) amongst others. Pick the top one rather using footage from The 3oo rahter than the live ones, it has the orignal fabulous vocalist. Enjoy.
Off to watch my favoured player loose his semi final in the French Open tennis championship. It's a given, if I root for them, they loose. Did I mention I get obssesed wtih tennis at this time of year and that's one of the reasons I get little else done? It is possible to potter about in the art journal while watching a match and that's what I'll be doing. I've been that way since I was about 11 so it's not going to change now! Roll on Wimbledon.........
